The German union of football Monday said Coach Joachim Loew has definitively renounced the idea of calling striker Schalke Kevin Kuranyi to the squad which will contest the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.
Kuranyi was ruled out for the squad since October 2008 in the match against Russia in World Cup qualifiers after Loew angered by leaving the pitch after replaced with the beginning of the second half and threatened the latter not attached to the team after the incident.
Loew will be announced next Friday the final squad that will participate in finals of the World Cup from June 11 to July 11.
And Kuranyi (28) succeeded this season in a good performance in the league, scoring 18 goals for his team Schalke , second on the list of arrangement under which guarantee participation in the Champions League next season.
